- Be mindful of your surroundings and physical items owned by others.
- Respect personal space; consider how close you are to your neighbor.
- Be conscious of the amount of noise you make and how it affects the people around you.
If available, use a trash can or the nearby sand bucket to dispose of whatever you brought with you. There’s nothing worse than stepping in a pile of sand-covered food wrappers. Pack out what you pack in and help to keep the beach clean. Take an active role in cleaning up your beach. It’s important to remember that the beach is a shared space, and people should be mindful of those around them. If you are partaking in a water activity like surfing, swimming, or fishing, keep a safe distance from anyone else who may be in the immediate area.
